If you are looking for an automatic wine opener on Amazon.com, the Oster 4207 is one of their top selling units.
The motorized wine bottle opener used to retail at $24.99, but the price has been slashed to $19.95 lately.
The Oster has to be plugged into the wall with an AC outlet and supposed to be charged 6 – 8 hours the first time before you use it. This is very common for most electrical appliances with a battery unit.
When the unit is not charged, you will see a red light on the base unit and on the top. When it is fully charged, the lights will turn white.
The back of the charging base has a cutter to remove the foil on the neck of the wine bottle. Very useful indeed!
When the foil is removed, take the Oster 4207 corkscrew off the charging base and position it on top of the bottle.
In one movement, the corkscrew will drill into the cork, grab it and pull it out. Next, press the “up button” and it ejects the cork automatically. Easy as pie!
